St. Luke’s Centennial Scholarship 2021 Recipients

In honor of the 100th anniversary of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, the Endowment Committee is presenting seven $500 St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Endowment Fund Centennial Scholarships. The 2021 recipients are:

Colbey (CJ) Grisar 
attending Drake University to study health sciences.

Maddie Thorstad 
continuing her studies at St. Norbert College with her goal to attend Medical School to become a Pediatrician.

Joshua Geibl 
beginning University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha majoring in Education with the goal of becoming a middle school teacher with an emphasis in Mathematics.

Callen Mollet
attending the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse to study exercise and sports science.

Janaka Subotnik
finishing her studies at Carroll University majoring in Communication with a Public Relations track and a minor in Spanish.

Kayla Wilson
continuing her studies at Bethany Lutheran College with a double major in business and legal studies, with a paralegal certificate and two marketing emphases.

Olivia Bogie
attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha for science studies.

These scholarships awarded by the Endowment Committee will be an annual reminder of St. Luke’s century-long commitment to supporting the Sons and Daughters of our congregation as they pursue post-secondary education in service occupations such as the ministry, the medical field, or education.
